This EMS Web App allows individuals and groups to search, request and view bookings on campus in a variety of managed spaces.
Please note that the availability of buildings, rooms, services and/or system functionality may vary based on your role or affiliation at Virginia Tech (For example, faculty and staff may have access to a different set of rooms and functions than registered student organizations). If you have questions, please refer to the general contact information.
VT Policy 5000 provides guidance for the use of university real property for official university business and registered events. When reserving university real property, please ensure that you have fulfilled the registration requirements for the event and that the intended purpose of use is for official university business only. Additionally, some spaces have rental and other fees associated. As the requestor, ensure that you are authorized to obligate your department for any financial responsibility associated with space usage.

o Only individuals tagged as Authorized Contacts on the Organization’s roster on GobblerConnect, can access the EMS Web App.

Event Services offers the following types of rooms available for request:
- Ballroom/Multipurpose Venues (Commonwealth, Owens, and GLC Multipurpose)
- Performance Venues (Burruss, Haymarket)
- Lecture Hall/Auditorium Venues (GLC and Squires Auditoriums)
- Meeting Rooms in Squires and Johnston Student Centers

Data & Decision Sciences:
· Access to the team room reservation template may be granted to authorized D&DS department graduate students and F/S only.
· These spaces are otherwise considered first-come, first-serve (as available) to the Virginia Tech community. Existing reservations receive priority use.
· Access to the shared conference room reservation template may be granted to authorized D&DS department F/S only.
Undergraduate Science Laboratory Building:
· Access to the team room reservation template may be granted to authorized USLB department graduate students and F/S only.
Information Technology for MME & MSE ([email protected]):
· Access to book space in Holden Hall is granted to F/S in the MME & MSE departments only.
Academic Building One ([email protected]):
· Access to AB1 - Faculty/Staff (and public spaces) reservation template may be granted to all VT F/S only.
· Access to book general reservable spaces may be granted to individual students. These spaces are otherwise considered first-come, first-serve (as available) to the Virginia Tech community. Existing reservations receive priority use.
